My Leather Jewelry

I have many pieces of leather jewelry in my jewelry box. I absolutely love it. It is the most common request from me when someone wants to give me a gift.

The very first piece of leather jewelry that I ever received was from my first husband. He bought me a genuine double row leather braided cuff bracelet that flowed together with a unique Sterling Silver design & sterling end-caps. After that gift, I was hooked on leather jewelry.

My second husband bought me a Double Row Pearl & Leather Necklace that combined a combination of freshwater cultured pearls with rich genuine leather attached with detailed sterling silver work. I loved this piece of leather jewelry. He bought me the necklace in black and I later bought another one just like it in pink.

After I bought myself the pink leather jewelry, I had so much fun wearing the necklace that I found myself more pink leather jewelry. There was a cool shop that I found that had the matching pink leather bracelet for the necklace that I'd purchased. I bought myself a pair of pink western jeans and went out dancing to celebrate.

I really like the pink leather jewelry, but I also like the black leather jewelry with pink pearls. I have been having so much fun wearing leather and pearls. It is hard to explain exactly why I like this combination so much, but it makes me feel very powerful and feminine at the same time.

Aside from



some very special leather jewelry pieces, most of my jewelry is just sterling silver pendants that hang from leather cords. This is my favorite style of necklace, really. I long ago stopped liking gold chains. I think my dislike of gold chains may go all the way back to Mr. T on the A-Team television show!

My mother knows how much I like leather jewelry. She is not the biggest fan of it herself. She thinks that it lends a sense of informality to my attire. I agree, but I don't care. I don't feel like I need formality with my attire. She relented last Christmas and bought me what will probably be the only piece of leather jewelry that she ever buys me. She picked out a lovely bracelet that had brown leather, stainless steel and 14kt gold.
